Moss Takes the Reins
After patiently waiting for his opportunity, redshirt junior quarterback Miller Moss has seized the starting role at USC in 2024. Moss made a strong impression last season, capping it off with a record-setting performance in the Holiday Bowl that led the Trojans to victory.
This year, Moss has elevated his game to new heights, showcasing his talent and leadership on the field. In the season-opening Vegas Kickoff Classic against LSU, his impeccable precision and decision-making guided USC to a 27-20 win. Moss completed 27 of 36 passes for 378 yards and a touchdown. He followed that up with a dominant outing against Utah State, throwing for 229 yards and one touchdown in a 48-0 victory.
Moss' experience and poise have been crucial in leading the Trojans' offense against tough competition, setting the stage for USC's Big Ten campaign.
Branch's All-Purpose Brilliance
Sophomore wide receiver Zachariah Branch has firmly established himself as a game-changing playmaker for the Trojans. After a standout freshman year that earned him First-Team All-American honors as a return specialist, Branch has become even more electric in 2024.
In the season opener against LSU, Branch showcased his exceptional speed and agility with a 46-yard kickoff return. But his impact extends far beyond special teams - he has become an integral part of the Trojans' passing game, using his sure-handed ability and elusiveness to make plays downfield and add another dimension to USC's offense.
